Welcome to Fairfield High

Fairfield is a school where everyone is valued for who they are and for what they can become.

We aim to provide an effective and wide-ranging education in an environment that encourages students to want to learn, contribute, and feel safe and confident

Above all we want students to enjoy coming to school and being part of our community.

We are committed to the highest possible standards in everything we do.

Congratulations to Year 11 on achieving 77% 5A* to C and 50% 5A* to C with English and Maths. Well done!

Holiday Cycling Course for students age 10 to 14

Free Cycling Road Safety training is available here at Fairfield School on Wednesday 6th June 2012 (in the middle of the half term break), for children aged between 10 and 14.

It is organised by PC Matt and will be run by BikeClub, a cycling charity. Training is free, but you will need to secure your place with a £5 deposit (returnable on arrival on the day).

You can pick up an information leaflet/application form from School Reception, which gives full details of the course, and you can chat to PC Matt if you would like more information.

Subsidised cycling training is also available for Year 7 pupils in the June half term break from LifeCycle.

Attached are details of a Holiday Cycling Course for Year 7 students in the upcoming June school break, which runs over 3 mornings at Bristol Grammar School, and leads to the Level 2 Bikability standard.

The course is provided by LifeCycleUK, a charity promoting safer cycling, and is a great catch up for any pupils who have missed cycle training this year – want a top up or refresher course  - or who didn’t reach Level 2 when they did do it in Primary school.
